The Worth is planned to be downtown Fort Worth’s first ground-up luxury condominium high-rise. Sitting on the western edge of downtown, The Worth would act as a gateway to both Panther Island to the north, and the art and museum districts to the west. Sundance Square, Bass Performance Hall, and the Trinity River trails are just a few of the Fort Worth cultural experiences a short walk away.
The base of the tower is articulated in a refined language of limestone forms reminiscent of Fort Worth’s Art Deco past, expressed as a series of walk-up brownstone apartments that tie the building to the life of the surrounding city. This is interrupted at the corner by a glass jewel box owner’s club and again at the entry as the point of the wedge shaped tower crashes through it. Luxurious amenities top the podium, with pools in both the morning and evening sides of the tower, a spa, fitness area, yoga lawn, lounge, and two “amenity level penthouse units” with their own generous lawn space. The tower rises above, its modern form articulated in clean lines of glass, steel, concrete, and stone. Its wedge shape draws its most prominent façade to a dramatic point, and turns its broad side to the views towards the center of the city.
