Located in the beautiful hill country outside Austin, the two buildings of the Seven Oaks campus sit perched atop a hill overlooking a watershed feeding into Barton Creek to the south. Care was taken during development to protect the integrity of the watershed, going vertical as much as possible with the office and parking structures, and carving into the bedrock for one level of parking below grade with direct access to the core of the office buildings. Roughhewn limestone rises out of the bedrock to form landscape walls and the parking structure at the base of the buildings, tying the campus into the very stone it sits upon. The two office buildings sit lightly above as simple glass forms sharing a common gesture in a swooping arc the bisects the façade of both buildings. Artfully crafted green spaces and elevated tenant terraces encourage the users to step outside to enjoy the beautiful surrounding watershed.
