Known for its Germanic influence and a booming wine/hospitality industries, Fredericksburg is in dire need of mid and low-income housing for its service industry population. The vision for this project is to fulfill that need, designing a mixed use campus to provide different housing types with on-site retail & amenities.
Style of the project is Modern Farmhouse with homage to German Architecture. Three freestanding retail buildings, along with the Leasing Center are found as you enter the campus.
Flanking on the other side of the entry drive are two 2-story multi-family buildings, completing the Friendship Lane frontage facades.
Higher density / 3-story multi-family modules are located just behind with a pool anchoring a common space in the center. Single family townhomes are located towards the back of the site, adjacent to the property’s pond and exercise trails. Additional amenities include amphitheater, pickle-ball court, rain-collection cistern, and pocket parks.
